It looks like it was Charity who had Caine beaten up and I'm sure he had it coming for his past nastiness to her as well as using her credit card. Latisha seems pretty stupid and impulsive so I guess she will do whatever seems like fun at the moment. Looks like Edna is getting fed up with Betty as a house guest. Has Zoe made an amazing recovery or is it just a remission?

I dont think you can recover from a breakdown so quickly, so wouldnt be surprised if something sends her off the rails again. Betty doesnt seem an ideal houseguest to me, hogging the hot water and the bathroom in the morning would make me glad to get rid of her.

Well, it didn't take long for Caine to get Latisha back. Betty's enjoying the limelight. What a turnaround for Andy, wanting Katy to have an abortion after talking her into getting pregnant. I suppose if it wasn't for silly young things the population would dwindle away. A bit cooler here today but not much, still 30 C in aft.

I think Latisha will be with anyone who will spend money on her. She is totally devoid of a conscience, and is fed up with always being short of money. Yes It was Andy's brilliant ieda to get Katy pregnant wasnt it? Thought no one could keep them apart then. Now reality has set in, a little too late.

Genee/Christina-I decided on Monday I was going to start watching Emmerdale here in Canada. I thought I would tape the weeks shows, then watch it all together. Yesterday I forgot to tape it. Is it the same show on Chex tv at 2pm the next day? Do either of you know? I can't remember if I read that somewhere. Is it on M-T, no Friday? I wish there was an omni I could just watch, its easier. Also if there is anything you think I should know before watching this weeks shows, please any info would be appreciated. (actually I just realized I can go back and read these threads.)

Hi Deborah, yes it it on Mon - Thur, and I believe it is CHEX that shows it the next day for some reason, so if you missed yesterday it should be on Monday, otherwise they would be off kilter. I am sure that once while flipping through channels I saw an Emmerdale omnibus but cannot remember where. If I come across it I will let you know. I think too there is a channel showing mon-Fri but further back than we are, but they should catch up eventually which should make it interesting. I know this sounds confusing because it is LOL Only the good old CBC eh? Once you catch on to it I am sure you will like it, there are some good characters and well acted. Good luck, and if I find any more info I will pass it on.

Deborah: you can go into the Emmerdale site and pick up what's been happening. I don't know what CHEX is but what I do is set the VCR to come on daily at 3 on CBC and again at 7:30 p.m. for Corrie. Of course, you can turn it off and on as you like or just fast forward the stuff you don't want. Last night I had company and watched Corrie this a.m. The only problem is if hydro goes off and you have to reset it.

Deborah, according to the CBC , Emmerdale is on Tues-Sat, and the episode you missed is on this coming Tuesday at 2.00 p.m. Hope you can see it then, or get it taped.

Well wasn't Emmerdale good today. How brilliant of Betty to use Seth's website to let the viewers vote on whether she goes back to him or not, talk about turning the tables. I am glad Katie has gone to stay with her mother and give us a rest from her angst, but how stupid of Andy to skip his exams. Mark did the same thing, we dont see much of him at the moment. Dont quite know what to make of Diane and the builder. Bless you Deborah, I didnt do that much but I hope I helped a bit.

I'd forgotten all about Mack the builder. He did a terrible thing much later on. Who was that one that worked with him? Syd I think. I liked him. I'm glad Diane got rid of her Vera Duckworth-type curly wig and has a much nicer one now. I'm so used to seeing her blonde now I keep forgetting the actress is really brunette! We've got rid of Katie here for a year I think because the actress is taking time off due to having a baby. It's bliss without her whining all the time. LOL!
I wonder how Deborah's getting on with Emmerdale?

Yes Christina, I enjoyed Betty's revenge - she's not just a pretty face! We got to see Katy's mother who seems a lot more sensible that the father, thank goodness. I really don't like that man. Syd will have his hands full getting rid of Nicola - she's like flypaper. Zoe seems to have made a complete turnaround - is she in the manic phase, I wonder. Paddy and Emily will have a houseful if they get a foster child and keep Nicola too. Thank goodness for this show; it's the only thing on all day that's not a rerun.

Today's show was better than Corrie - at least things were happening. Betty and Seth were good and very funny the way she's milking it - getting public appologies and the way it ended with Len throwing the towel over the camera was good. I felt bad for Diane the way Syd ruined her dinner with the builder - having dinner with Nicola would ruin anyone's evening! The Betty, Seth and internet storyline was well done and original, I thought. We need some of that kind of originality to come back to Corrie.

Well I taped last weeks shows, but was busy with visiting relatives and only got a chance to watch last Mondays show. I decided to just start again and watch todays show and I really enjoyed it. Betty is going home!! The relatives are gone now, so hopefully I will be able to watch and get in a routine. I did enjoy it today though-and will soon learn, who is who.

Congratuations Deborah, so glad you like Emmerdale. I find it much more relaxing and enjoyable to watch, although of course I have my favourite characters, and other that get on my nerves (Nicola and Andy come to mind quite quickly). It takes a time to get to know whos who, I still struggle with Londons Burning, but as someone else said its better than most things on tv right now.
