LOL at Shadrach. Does anyone else think Zoe Tate looks like Yoko Ono? Saw Yoko's picture in the paper and was struck by the resemblance. If you get 6 a week is it Mon - Sat.? Is there an audience for Sat. - Prime time or afternoons?

I hadn't thought of Zoe looking like Yoko Ono. I'll look closer next time she's on. It's Sun-Fri here at 7pm, with Corrie Sunday 7.30, Monday 7.30 & 8.30, Wed 7.30 and Fri 7.30. Occasionally they give us an hour special and drop one of the ep so it still adds up to 6 a week and put it 7-8pm so it runs across EastEnders on BBC1. Though Emmerdale Farm (as it was then) started out as a daytime soap on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1.30pm. My mum watched it and my earliest memory was Christine Sugden leaving Joe (Jack's brother). I'd always thought it was 1976 until seeing it on satellite in the 90s and it was actually 1974.

Does anyone know when Emmerdale Farm moved to a later slot? I know it was 1988 before all regions showed it at 7pm.

Can't remember now. It was all so long ago. I know we had it at 7pm in the Southern region when Matt and Dolly got married (1978?) because my mum collected me from a friend's and her mum watched it too so we went afterwards.

Patsy I heard lots of regions showed it at 6.30pm though on alternating days with Crossroads as Em was 2 days a week and Crossroads was 3. Apparently on HTV and Westward we had Crossroads at 5.20pm before the ITV News at 5.45, and Corrie was at 7.30pm on Mon/Wed like the rest of the network. But ive no idea about Emmerdale.

I hadnt noticed a resemblance to Yoko either, but do find Zoe very changeable, from very pretty to almost ugly, depending on her mood at the time, she is very pretty when she is happy. A bit off topic, but how do you add an avatar to your statistics?

A bit off topic, but how do you add an avatar to your statistics? You do it in your profile Christina. First you need to upload it to the web and then insert the link into the appropriate box, they are all labelled. Then you save the changes to your profile and an avatar will be there. you will also need to enter the size of the avatar. if you need more help head on up to lanekent.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=proband I will sort you out but that is it simply.

Thank you, I will see if I am bright enough to do that, but dont hold your breath LOL Geenee, and anyone else in Canada who watches Emmerdale, what did you think seeing Zoe sleeping on the street. It looks as though the fan emails may get Betty back to Seth quicker than the flowers and sherry. By the way if there are other Canadian viewers, dont be shy, come and join us. It is a warm and friendly place, and fun to share your views with others.

Christina, get a picture you want 100mmx100mm maximum and upload it to www.photobucket.com from where you copy the URL on the top line under the photo (right click your mouse and click copy) and paste it into the space in your profile (right click the mouse and click paste). You might need to size the picture though. Mine is 100x80. Hope that helps. Patsy

Hi all. Yes Christina, I think the fan emails might do the trick with Betty. Does Zoe have post traumatic stress disorder from killing the brother (was it Liam)? Didn't know what street she was on or what town. And Caine is back with no explanation as to who beat him up. Thought he looked positively dapper compared to Charlie in Corrie! And that was at the wedding!

Geenee, I was pleased to hear you didnt know who beat up Cain. I got an annoying phone call just as that happened. All I saw was Charity holding him. I asked my husband what happened to him, and he said I dont know - I was listening to you on the phone LOL I expect we shall find out shortly. Well, off to bed now. All the best

Hmm... Christina - are your phone calls more entertaining than the soap? There are times when I thought life was like a soap - and my neighbors' ongoing saga proves it.

Geenee, no my phone calls are definitely NOT more entertaining than my soaps, but we are waiting to hear when our air conditioner may be installed so I had to answer. Of course that wasnt the call we were waiting for LOL. Doesnt Charity seem to be a much more sympathetic character than at first, she can still be hard but often very understanding.

Yes, Charity has become quite likeable as is Seth with everyone else but Betty whose privacy he destroyed. I don't imagine Betty and whatsername will last long in the same house so I imagine she'll be back home soon. Hope you got your air cond. installed as we sure needed it today - will this heat ever end?

Well Cain is back, beaten up, but apparently quite flush with money as he hands over a wad of it to Latisha. Wonder if she she will pay it all over to Charity or go on another spending spree. She is a very devious character. No Geenee we have not got our new unit yet, but the repair is still holding so we are not desperate yet. They had to order one in specially as we have quite a small house, and the ones in stock were overrated for our square footage.
