Don't you wish you could be in charge of CBC programming? I do. What fun it would be to pack the schedule full of things we like and dump the old re-runs. I'd especially like to dump that cooking guy with the stubble who comes on before the Emmerdale slot. But I guess he's Canadian content!

In Malta we're just after Marlon & Trish's wedding. Lorraine Chase is great as Trish's mum. A friend of mine (Seamus Gubbins) played Ray Mullins for awhile, but left the show ages ago. I remember getting a phone call from my mate Ronan telling me he was in a pub in Leeds with Seamus and Zak Dingle. They even put 'Zak' on the phone to me. Everyone was telling me about Seamus and I was going mad cos we were about 6 years behind then. We've caught up a bit now, just 4 years behind now.

Oh wow! That must have been exciting for you to speak to Zak like that.
How many times a week do you get it?

That's a lot of soaps. Is that the new Crossroads with the Russells running the place? I preferred the originaly myself.
With us having Emmerdale a ridiculous 6 times a week you'll still have a while before you catch up. But what you're getting was good stuff. Poor geenee and Deborah missed out after CBC took it off and 2003 is a terrific year.

Emmerdale is great and the storylines are first class. Nicola has got to be one of the best bitches on tv. On a par with Tracy Barlow & Maya of Corrie.

I loved Crossroads. It was my favourite soap since childhood. I couldn't get into the new one. It just wasn't Crossroads. And the way they changed history was ridiculous. Jill never had 30% shares after selling them to MIH in 1985. But let's not get into that. LOL!
I have to admit Emmerdale's got pretty boring here and I'm on the verge of switching off. Steve Frost's years were marvellous but Kathleen Beedles has undone all his work. These 6 eps a week are not helping. It's really run out of ideas. I liked Nicola. Spoilt little princess. LOL! She was someone you could really love to hate.
