Hi Christina and geenee! Yes, it's a wonderful wedding. It's also a couple of marvellous eps. I just loved them. Possibly my favourites after Reet's storyline with Cilla and Chesney and Maya's exit from 2004. I don't think I can pick a favourite so far from this year. Sean is great. I was worried his personality would get boring after a while (as they tend to these days) but I adore him. I just wish they'd give him proper storylines and not stupid ones. Patsy

I was surprised at the time that you enjoyed the wedding Patsy. I thought it was OK but nothing as good as Karen and Steve's or Maya's revenge.

The end was rubbish. But the actual wedding and all that was wonderful.

We had a good hour-long show last night and Fred did a brilliant drunk act in the restaurant and pub. He continues to consider himself an expert on romance, even with his track record. Jason and Candice broke up and moved on rather quickly, ho hum. Karen finally figured out how to get rid of Amy by threating to go for custody, but then blew it because she can't keep her mouth shut. They are talking about Christmas so I think we must be getting up to about October. Kieran looks like he's falling for Tracy's scam to keep the money from the restaurant - would Penny really be that stupid?

geenee, Penny is stupid, yes. Is Ciaran's restaurant now open? How are the preparations for Dev and Sunita's wedding going?
Do you often get hours over there?

Do you often get hours over there? Patsy No we don't usually. They have changed the schedule this week and next because of the Aquatic championships. Instead of 4 half hour shows, we are getting an hour on two nights. I prefer this schedule myself. I find the half hour goes by so fast.

I hate it when they stick 2 half hour eps together for a 1 hour special. I prefer a proper 1 hour special which is meant for broadcast over an hour.

1st Wed for Mad Maya was rubbish too. And we didn't need 2 on the Friday.
I hate that too like they did when Todd left. Bringing Friday's forward indeed. How ridiculous was that?

They only usually give us one-hour shows to make up for pre-emptions - usually for some sports event. I still prefer having it in the afternoon for that reason. Read in the Toronto Star that the CBC considers this an experiment, running Corrie from 8-9 p..m. but if they think it can compete with Can.-American Idol they are mistaken IMO. A lot of good shows get cancelled that way - moving them around to different days and time slots. Anyway, last night's show was very entertaining with all the romantic silliness. Nice to see Ken and Dierdre for a change. And about time Ashley decided to re-decorate. I imagine Claire will be glad to see the end of Maxine's decorating taste. It seemed out of character for Ashley to propose in public; he was quite playful for a change and Josh was cute, smiling at the antics. Also out of character for the creep to bring flowers to Shelley; Karen saying she and Steve never fight LOL, and the total BS from Sally re. her Kevin was funny. We see Les may be getting a hot tub for Cilla - that should be fun. Also interesting to see Dev. trying to win over Sunita's mother. Two good shows this week but nothing now until? (depends on sports as usual)

Patsy: I forgot to mention - yes Ciaran's restaurant is open and they just sold it. Tracy forged Penny's signature while she and Mike were sitting at the next table (more nerve than Al Capone). Couldn't Penny check that somehow at the Registry Office or through a lawyer? I suppose she's too embarassed to ask Mike for help. Geenee

I loved the hour show, it flew by but seems more meaty (I say, seems more meaty!!) the 1/2 hr goes so quickly. I throughly enjoyed last night, loved Kirk and his tattood friend "love on one hand and hat on the other" I was surprised by Patrick and Janice too, do they become a regular item. I suppose there will be trouble over the sale of the cafe, but I bet teflon Tracy will escape consequences. I know Kieran leaves the show. Glad to finally have this figured out (I think)LOL
