You know Geenee, I think I feel the same way about the Windass family. Faye always seems to be up to something and Owen is just tedious and ill tempered. I never really liked Katy much and Izzy isn,t around much to even worry about. It looks like the Bistro is set to open again and I can,t say that I really like what they have done to it so far. I thought it was nice and classy the way it was. I did get a laugh at Nick and David trying to fold up those drop cloths. Obviously neither of them has had to fold clothes. Eva opened her trapper again last night and in the midst of reaming out Callum, she told him that his name was on Max,s birth certificate. That can,t be a good thing for him to know. No news about Sinead, but her grandmother seems to be whipping them all into shape. LOL

With friends like Eva you don't need enemies! She's always doing things like that and is such a ditz. This whole thing with Gandy could go on for ages it seems and Leanne is the only one who's suspicious. Leanne hasn't had a good story line for ages and is made to look like a grouch most of the time. I agree; the Bistro looked a lot better before the reno and it had some class. Norris is on a lot lately and getting nastier all the time. I want Sinead to get better ASAP; enough of the hospital!
In hibernation again - still!

It seems that the information the Eva gave Callum has already been put to work, as Callum is now seeing is going to lawyer up. David did have a talk with Katy and warned her about Callum. The Bistro is up and running again, but I don,t think it looks as classy as it used to. Gail and Beth are enjoying the free wine. Andy and Steph are spending more time lying than anything else and sooner or later this whole thing will have to come out in the open. Norris has been very nasty lately and he also seems to have a secret. Since Rita has gone to visit with Mavis, so Norris is in the shop himself, so seems to feel free to treat people anyway he pleases.

Two episodes last night and a nice piece on Deidre. They did one years ago and this one was just as good. I had forgotten how attractive she used to be and it was nice to see Mike Baldwin again. It seems that Katy didn,t take David,s advice. She thinks he has changed...because he told her he had. LOL Roy is off to spread Hayley,s ashes.

That was a nice piece on Dierdre and I liked the introduction by Ken - from their living room. Katy is a dingbat but what else is new? I hope they don't milk the bit with Roy and the ashes too much. Liz and Michelle are smothering Steve and they need to back off a bit. Liz hiding the remote was away out of line - but when my remote wasn't working I just got up off my behind and used the manual tuners on the TV. Steve is really not thinking straight!
How about that Bistro? Do they think the earlier decor was too classy for the Street?

I don,t know why they thought the Bistro needed a revamp. It has only been open for a couple of years and certainly seemed busy enough. I am also a bit tired of the hospital stuff, but it was nice that Roy paid a visit to Sinaed and they seemed to have worked through their differences. I think it is time to put all the Hayley stuff to rest.

Roy,s scattering the ashes seemed to take up half the eppie, but he got there eventually. I thought that Steve might have a break through last night, when he took himself to Streetcars and actually worked the switch. Liz and Michelle need to step back. One thinks he needs tough love and one thinks he needs a spoonful of sugar. Callum threatened David and made him lie to the police but Michael seems to have come through the surgery well. It feels cold out there again today, but at least we have sun.

Steve seemed a bit more together last night and it was Amy,s birthday. Tracy was her usual charming self. Michael made it through his op and now Gail wants to get married ASAP. Katy caught Faye with cigarettes and Owen,s wife showed up at the door. I don,t think Anna is going to be too pleased. Sally made a big production of one of Kal,s father,s chicken made a run for it and ended up in Sally,s back yard. Sally does everything she can to make herself look important and last night she spoke to Gail about maybe ditching Michael if he was going to be a liability.

A old/new character on the street. I doubt Rita will be pleased. I hope Tony and Tracy get caught soon. Liz will be pissed. Enough of the Windass,s and Owen. Faye has a big problem, but although she wants to tell Anna, the family in crisis stands in her way.

They don,t seem to show as much of the Bistro as they used to. Standing in the corner or a single table or the bar area. I don,t like it as much as the original restaurant. Faye is still trying to hide her tummy, but she can,t go for much longer. Eileen behind the bar is not working. Not sure why Eileen has turned into Cousin Ernie, because she isn,t like this in her real life. Davis is going nowhere trying to keep Callum away from Max, so better to let the two of them spend some time together and see where the chips fall.
