I couldn't see the point of that quiz either. It was just more pathetic reasons from the writers to keep the arguing between the McDonalds and Barlows going. Most people I know where alreay bored with it all by then and cheered when Karen left hoping it would be the end of it.

I was glad to see the end of Karen as the storyline was going around in circles, but I thought the quiz was a bit of light hearted fun.

I am so enjoying Sean, he is such a treat. This week we saw him stand between Tracy and Karen, acting so macho he had to go sit down because his knees were weak. Hope they keep him. Karen has changed so much, was one of my favourites, but no longer. I will not miss her when she goes, too bad she can't take Liz with her.

Just checked in my tv guides;
Dev and Sunita's wedding was week commencing Sunday 24th October 2004.
The Barlows on the tv quiz show was week commencing Sunday 7th November
Maya's Mad Monday was Monday 22nd November.

Nah. Even without La Ford it would still have been pointless padding.
I agree, nana2x about Karen. They really changed her. I used to love all that with Steve but when they threw Tracy into the equation it got repetitive and boring. Unfortunately we still have Tracy.

Hi all. We have had Sean here for a few weeks and I really like this character - fits right in with Corrie humour. We just met Violet last week and Jason seems smitten. Does Maya marrying in Sunita's name stop Sunita and Dev's wedding? The writers seem to have been making a real effort to bring back the humour which was pretty scarce for awhile. On the CBC site they have Ken listed as star of the show - don't they watch? We hardly ever see him anymore.

Welcome NanaX2 and Genee, great to have some more Canadians on here to discuss Canadian Corrie. I agree with you both about Sean-he is great and adds some much needed humour to the show. Are either of you going to the Corrie day at Wetherby's?

Thanks for the welcomes. Glad to find somewhere to talk about Corrie without sifting through the spam. Nice to share views with other Canuks on the current episodes in Canada, although I do look ahead to see what is happening in England. By the time those episodes get here its still like new. Could be my age LOL Judith

Do you mean Weatherby's in Acton? And when is it? Yes. This Saturday is their final Corrie Day. It is from 1-4. They have refreshments, door prizes and quizzes in the garden. The week after the store will be closing as the owner is retiring. I went two years ago and we really enjoyed it. My husband even won a door prize. It is great chatting with other Corrie fans. You will have to let me know if you do go.

So far I have really liked Sean, I think he is brilliant with Eileen. Do Dev and Sunita have the traditional Hindu wedding? A friend of mine is married to a Hindu and they went to India for his brothers wedding. She said it was highly glamorous and extravagant, but tiring as the festivities went on for four days. I do hope I am now fixed up on this site, I was feeling like a very slow learner.
