Not of interest to many I expect - but worth pointing out I reckon! I discovered over Christmas that this lady had a pop single released in 1963, 'Hobbies' / 'Big Boys'! She recorded with legendary producer Joe Meek, who also produced the Honeycombs' Have I The Right, Tornadoes - Telstar and John Leyton's Johnny Remember Me. Those tracks and several other unreleased gems appear on a CD I got, Joe Meek's Girls. She has a good voice and I like the songs. I was surprised I'd never heard about her brief singing career before! I'd like to see a bit more of Lucille in Corrie now - wonder if she's on the annual vids much? If not fingers crossed we get a Corrie 60s boxset! Apparently she was sacked in 1974 when she hit the bottle! there was a programme a few years back, 'life After the Street', she was on that. Shame I missed it.

I'm beginning to think there won't be one, or a 90s set (which I wasn't going to buy anyway). I would buy a 60s because it was still a great era with many classic characters.

I have that set but it's at my boyf's house so I haven't seen much of it Why do you think there won't be more boxsets Patsy? 90s is my era so it'd be a must-buy! Did you not like the early 90s?

90s would be a must buy for me Theo, however the 70s and 80s were better. Id probabaly buy a 60s one as well just to see what it was like as ive seen little of that era.

Because there's nothing forthcoming. They rushed out the 70s and 80s within a couple of months. But their list to the end of March has only the single releases. Wasn't that keen on the 90s, no. Especially after they went 4 times a week. Would prefer the 60s.

They might release one at a later date. Maybe they are waiting to see how the 80s one did.
