This is offically in my top two tv programmes ever. All of the cast are superb, particually the 'originals', Mollie Sugden, John Inman, Wendy Richard, Trevor Bannister and Frank Thorton.
I find it absolutely hilarious and I have all the dvds. Its one of the few programmes I never tire of watching.

I agree with you about the 'originals'. I preferred Mr Lucas to Mr Spooner.

I really think it went downhill when Mr Lucas left. Basically every line he said had me chuckling.

He was so funny. Spooner was too wet and pathetic.

I was sad to hear John Inman / Mr Humphreys died yesterday :,( he will be missed as an actor and in the pantos as he made a terrific dame :,( it would be nice if they could show one of the are you being served episodes in tribute to him but I bet they don,t.
