I voted for Only Fools and Horses, but I think they should have left it alone after they became millionaires. The subsequent 'one-offs' haven't been that good IMO. David Jason is excellent in it, as was he in Open All Hours and Porridge, so he's got to be the nation's favourite comedy actor as he was in all those best-loved classic comedies.

My favourites are Fawlty Towers, One Foot in the Grave and Blackadder. My most remembered episode of One foot in the Grave is when Victor Meldrew washes his face before going to bed, then the next morning his wife discovers a green patch on the pillow, so she gets angry as it turns out that he washed his face with a lavatory cleaner and as it was dark he thought it was soap!
I prefer Fawlty Towers because of John Cleese's acting. My favourite episode is the Germans as they order their meal The German guest says "Will you stop talking about the war!" Basil says "you started it, you invaded Poland!"
My brother is a bigger fan of Blackadder then I am though.

I never really fell for Blackadder 1 or 4 but I thought Blackadder 2 was fantastic.

Loved both Blackadder and Fawlty Towers but another I really liked was Birds of a Feather which we don't get anymore. Saw one of the sisters on a Grumpy Woman of Christmas thing last night. Germaine Greer was on it with a few actresses, one of which is driving me crazy trying to remember where I saw her before. I quite liked the show; it kind of expressed my feelings about the season.

None of mine are on that list. They're all BBC and mine is ITV (George and Mildred).

I voted Absolutely Fabulous, simply because of Joanna Lumley. My favourite is Are You being Served? though.
