Has anybody been following the latest series' of this? I am not too sure, this may be me, but I think that as the series have progressed generally the quality has declined.
Though I think the best two characters in that series are Piers and Mrs Raven. Those two make me laugh so much, they are so over the top that it is positively funny. I do believe the older episodes are being shown on UK Gold now too.

I don't think it's just you who thinks it isn't as good as it used to be. The first few series were quite funny but I haven't liked it as much since they introduced the talking kids. Its become more silly than funny. Piers and Mrs Raven have always been the funniest characters! tbh I prefer watching the reruns of My family to My hero nowadays.

You are right, the talking kids definately was the point where it went downhill, and it is more silly than funny. Piers and Mrs Raven have always been the best characters. I actually remember the episode where Piers got powers, and he called himself "Miricle Man" LOL! ;D

I liked the episode when he thought he was going to be "I'm a celeb" ;D
Always love Mrs Raven talking about what her triplets are getting upto, as well.

I just read in a magazine that there will be another series of My Hero but Ardal O'Hanlon, who plays Thermoman/Geoge won't be in it. James Dreyfus will take over. O' Hanlon doesn't want to play him anymore. Might be a bit weird, I think.

What a shame... It will be weird indeed! I do like James Dreyfus so it may not be so bad...

If James Dryfuss took over, then I wouldn't watch- it would take away that special touch he gives it.

I'm going to see what its like first to make up my mind whether I like it or not.... I don't mind James Dryfuss but we don't know what he will be like in the role... So I'll decide after the first one....

to be honest I think James Drayfuss does a good job, it can`t have been easy to follow Ardel O Hanlon who was brilleant in it though there doesn`t seem to be the same closeness between Janet and him ,I`m still not sure about thermo kid`s in my hero though but might get to like them but doubt it . Mrs Raven is still great and Peirs is still good.
