A fantastic moving episode today, Hilda Braid who plays Nana and Shane Richie (Alfie Moon) were so belivable and touching. It had me in tears, and up until this episode im sorry to say i never really thourght about the war, and couldn't really associate or know what it felt like- today has given me a whole new insight. This episode had just the rightp amount of flashbacks, and everything was done just fine, the getting to know the old nanna and finding out about her Alfred bit was superbly done, and made everything so emotional. My mum hates Eastenders and has no time for it, but today, she was moved to tears also, she says the episode was lovely. It is so odd how Emmerdale has or does nothing, whilst Eastenders made such a fitting tribute to it. All I can say is such a HUGE thankyou to Eastenders and everyone invoilved. The flashbacks and old characters were SO belivable. I have really trully opened my eyes to the importance of the wars now. Thankyou once again. Liam Beryy.

I haven't seen it yet. Have that and last night's still to watch which I will after I've taped tonight's.
Emmerdale had the Rememberance Day service (which we never actually saw) on Sunday and wreath laying. No idea about Corrie but I expect they did sod all.

I've seen that now and it was very intense and so well written. Even my dad watched bits while he waited to switch the video off for me and enjoyed what he saw. It was very strange going to yesterday's after Friday's emotionally packed episode. Well done to everyone at EE for a superb episode.
