Does anybody remember this cartoon? I have to admit it, but I used to watch that cartoon as I found it exceedingly funny. The nanny was hilarious, obviously she never knew how to use a door. ;D
I don't often think about cartoons but having watched my middle daughter playing Sims 2 the other night and one of her sims being a vampire Sim it reminded me of this cartoon. Surely there must be some people who remember?
I think I liked how Egor was continually trying to turn him to a blood sucker from a vegetarian.

When I first read the title of the thread I was unsure about what show you were talking about but I remember now! It was a cartoon that used to be on CITV, wasn't it. They lived in a big castle, in Transalvania (sp) ? I'm going to have to ask my sister now if she remembers it too. ;D, I think we used to watch it together when we came in from school.

Another of David Jason and Cosgrove Hall's marvellous cartoons. Though I always preferred Danger Mouse I did love this.

It was more an 80s thing. Cosgrove Hall (like Euston Films) was part of Thames and they split in 1993.

Count Duckula was also one of the very few british cartoons that were actually successful.

I used to love watching it with my daughter,(not saying how old I am;p but she`s 17 now) we both loved nanny and I found a Count Duckula book recently bought it, and I admit the memorie`s flooded back to both of us. left us wondering why they can`t repeat it ? but you`ve answered our question if Cosgrove Hall was part of thame`s they could have lost it when they split.

Cosgrove Hall is still around as an independant company, the way Euston Films went. Course Euston Films have since disappeared. I saw something last year that was made by Cosgrove Hall but can't for the life of me remember what it was.
