Did anybody follow this series?
You know that series for me was so tragic and even though the Hulk from the series was nothing like he was in the comics or in the 2003 movie. I.e really powerful. You definately got the feeling of tragedy at how the Hulk was messing up Dr Banner's life.
To be honest I am not a Hulk fan, my hubby is, a big one, so having seen the series when I saw the 2003 film I had a major surprise to see the Hulk leaping for miles, bullets bouncing off him like they were nothing. Swinging tanks around by the gun. Yet, the series for me conveyed the tragedy behind the character much much better than the film did.
Yes you got the sense of a tortured soul, but the series just echoed this so very well. I really thought it was sad when Bill Bixby died, though did anybody notice Lou Ferrignou's cameo in "HULK"?

Oh I did. It was great. I even enjoyed those films years later but was sad when he died at the end of the last one. If I had the choice, I'd rather watch he original series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno than the film last year.

Something that has always fascinated me about the Hulk, how come if he splits his way totally out of his shirt, he doesn't do the same with his trousers.

LOL! Yards of elastic I expect, Sooty! I wanted to be Wonder Woman and the Bionic Woman when I was growing up but a friend did confess to me he wanted to be the Hulk and used to go around in his pyjama bottoms pretending he was! LOL!

The Hulk tv series was excellent, I have been hunting round for all of the dvds and videos that I can find of it, but haven't given up hope yet that we'll get dvd box sets of each series one day.. The show had a wonderful closing theme music didn't it? SS

I always thought the end of that Michael Landan series Highway to Heaven copied that of David Banner leaving town and going to the next.
