The OC was back last night and another show that looks promising if you like soapy stuff - Reunion. 6 Feet Under is listed for Sun. night on Showcase - that would be Season 3 for those that don't have Movie Network. There may actually be shows worth watching once in awhile this season.

Does anyone else watch Desperate Housewives or 6 Feet Under - or the Sopranos?

My dad loves 6 Feet Under. It's on E4 here Monday mornings at ridiculous times. So he sets the video and hopes the satellite doesn't go off overnight. LOL!

Wife Swap USA last night.
A gay couple with two teenage girls (one child for each using a surrogate) had to swop with a bible belt horror of a couple.
What a terrible episode. The bible bashing ones showed themselves to be ignorant and unforgiving. The gay man "wife" was only allowed into the house during the day and had to sleep elsewhere. There were big discussions in the community about him and he was advised to treat him as a leper.
Whatever your views on gay couples bringing up children this episode really did show the couple to be bringing up a responsible family that worked as a team and had a good family life. The bible bashing family were spanking the boys with a paddle, feeding them so much they were all obese and one teenage boy was on blood pressure medication. I do think the series tries to change your perceptions about people by showing extremes of behaviour but if there ever was a series demonstrating to not judge others until you get to know them this is it.

Desperate Housewives was good last night - always moves fairly fast. I watched Wife Swap a few times and wondered what effect all this would have on the poor kids. 6 Feet Under is lagging a bit this season (3 I think) with Nate being married but seems about to liven up as Brenda and family are around again and Rico's wife is in deep depression; this is not good as being a nurse, she has access to drugs. David and Keith are getting experimental in their relationship and no good can come of this. Claire seems happier in art school but with a strange teacher who is also quite promiscuous. The mom also has a strange new friend/apprentice in the firm. Am I telling too much?
