I see it says if the boring old cricket's finished. It's a crap film. The MATH one is better because at least it was written by Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke. Eric Chappell of Rising Damp I think wrote the G&M one. It is dire and a terrible legacy for Yootha. She looks old, thin and ill in it.

I thought I answered this thread. Oh may be I did on page 1 just seen this is the second page. It is the red kryptonite sending my brain loopy. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

LOL! What excuse can I use? I know. My brain's JUST loopy. LOL!
Bad as the film is, I'm hoping this cricket hurries up and finishes so there'll be some Yootha on TV. ;D

According to the Network site, G&M and MATH releases are 'imminent'. What's that going to do for Umbrella in Australia?

It's a pity those slap-on-the-back Melvyn Bragg programmes didn't focus on more stuff than modern and Granada. Not even a clip of G&M, only a brief one of the Ropers in MATH when you'd think it would have been Robin, Chrissy and Jo.

I still can't believe this time 25 years ago (or will be later this afternoon) she left us. But at least she left behind a marvellous legacy of her work to appreciate and enjoy all these years later and beyond. If she was alive now, she'd be 78 and probably relegated to Last of the Summer Wine with Brian as guest roles as dotty old biddies in The Bill, Casualty, Doctors etc so at least she was spared that! Still miss you, Yootha, wherever you are. Patsy

They are really getting these MATH and G&M releases out fast! No mention of extras or RN though. Series 2 of MATH and G&M is the 30th January followed by series 3 on the 20th March! Umbrella Entertainment in Australia are STILL having clearance issues for series 3. This is just so unfair.
